EtthiQ menstrual panties are made of 3 different fabrics:
-GOTS certified organic cotton,
-tencel (made from LENZING™ certified eucalyptus fiber) naturally absorbent, hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial and anti-odour,
-waterproof and breathable fabric.

Our raw materials are of very high quality and come mainly from Italy, Spain and Portugal. They are all certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Our current models are suitable for very light, light and medium flows days.

They will also give you extra protection alongside other protection (like the cup or tampon) on heavy flow days for a stress-free day or night.

Absolutely not! The absorbent part is about 2mm thick (our testers told us they didn't even feel it). We assure you, you'll feel like you're wearing your usual underwear!

Our menstrual panties have an average lifespan of 3 to 5 years depending on the care and love you give them (similar to your usual quality underwear).

A word of advice: Take care of them and they will pay you back!

Using your menstrual panty is very simple! You wear it like any other underwear and let our innovative absorbent layer drain, absorb and retain your menstrual flow.

If this is your very first use, we advise you to try it on a day when you are comfortably at home in order to know the absorption capacity of our EtthiQ menstrual panties in relation to your flow.

When it's time to change, all you have to do is rinse it, wash it and dry (consult your care instructions for more details). After a few hours, your EtthiQ menstrual panties will be ready to join you again on another adventure or for some quiet time at home.

For light flow models Odilia and Noémie: Our testers during the days when their flow was light were able to wear them for an average of 12 hours.

For medium flow model Amandine: Our testers during the days when their flow was light were able to wear it on average of 12 hours. On days when their flow was average, they were able to wear it for an average of 7 hours. On days when their flow was heavy, they were able to wear it for an average of 3 hours.

There are several types of flows. Some of us bleed very watery and/or drain very quickly over a short period of time. Others have a so-called ''central'' flow, that is to say that the blood accumulates in the center of the menstrual panty causing it to quickly overflow on the sides, while the rest of the absorbent zone is far from saturated. In these cases, EtthiQ menstrual panties may need to be changed more frequently.

The best advice we can give is to first try on your EtthiQ menstrual panties in the stress-free comfort of your home. This will allow you to measure at your own pace its absorption against your flow and build a routine optimized to your lifestyle. Yes, our models are designed to be worn day and night. They adapt to your movements (standing, sitting, lying down) and will allow you to spend a peaceful and leak-free night.

Depending on your flow, this is not necessary as EtthiQ menstrual panties are a replacement for ''traditional'' sanitary protection. But supplementing with another protection of your choice (pads, tampons) is certainly possible, particularly if you experience very heavy or hemorrhagic periods.

No! Contrary to what many women believe, blood does not have an offensive odour. Rather, it's the chemically treated materials typically found in disposable protections that are to blame. 

The absorbent layer in our menstrual panties consists only of Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified materials and thanks to our innovative technology, it has the power to quickly absorb your flow, retain it and block humidity (humidity stimulates bacteria formation leading to bad odours).

3 easy steps:

1) Rinse your EtthiQ menstrual panty with cold water.

2) Hand wash using cold water or run a cold cycle machine wash (preferably in a mesh wash bag for best protection if including in your regular laundry). Do not use fabric softener or bleach as these products may impact the menstrual panty's effectiveness.

3) Air dry

And voilà, your EtthiQ menstrual panty is ready to be worn when you need it.

Most laundry detergents can be used.

Some tips:

- Use detergents that don't contain glycerin
- Prioritize natural detergents (better for your health and the environment)
- Don't use oily soaps (Marseille, black, Alep soap). Typically these products penetrate the tissues that constitute your menstrual panty, adhere to the fibers and can inhibit absorption capacity.

Heat will damage the tissues in the panty over the long term.

Nowadays, cold water machine washing is very capable at deep cleaning and is even better for the environment.

As you know, EtthiQ does not use any chemical substances in our Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® products (no silver nano-particles or anti stain treatment).

The pH in our blood and other vaginal discharges are naturally acidic so it's possible that certain women may notice a small discolouration where the mucous membranes make contact with the panty. No worries though! Your EtthiQ menstrual panty will still remain just as effective.

Don't panic! If it happens just once it shouldn't much impact the absorption capabilities of your EtthiQ menstrual panties. However, be more careful in the future to avoid irreversible damage and always follow our easy care instructions.
